At Plum Street Little Learners, we believe every child deserves a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive. As a family-owned childcare center, we understand the importance of finding a place where your child is cared for like one of our own.
Our mission is to provide high-quality early childhood education while creating meaningful relationships with every child and family we serve. Through hands-on learning, creative play, and age-appropriate activities, we encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and a lifelong love of learning.

Meet Our Director
Hello Families!
My name is Talyn Leibham (Guinn). I am so excited to introduce myself and welcome you to our daycare community!
I hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and am a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Before beginning this new adventure, I spent three years providing speech and language therapy in a developmental preschool. During that time, I had the privilege of working closely with young children of varying abilities and developmental levels, as well as collaborating with their families and educators.
My experience as an SLP has had a huge influence on the environment I want to create for children in our center. I am passionate about providing a sensory and language rich curriculum where children are encouraged to explore, communicate, play, and learn in ways that meet them at their individual developmental level. I believe some of the most meaningful learning happens through play and hands-on experiences.
Becoming a daycare director was an opportunity for me to combine my love for working with children with my desire to become even more involved in our community while staying close to my family. I want our center to be a place where families feel confident that their children are surrounded by people who truly care about their growth and development.
Outside of the daycare, I am also a Western Boone volleyball coach. Coaching has given me another opportunity to invest in our youth and our community, and it has strengthened my passion for leadership and creating an environment where others can grow and succeed.
I am incredibly excited for this new adventure and look forward to getting to know each of our children and families. Thank you for considering trusting us with such an important part of your family’s life!

Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 5:30pm

Click the button below to submit the Enrollment Interest Form. Once you click the Interest Form, it will direct you to create a Parent Account through Brightwheel. If you already have a Parent Account with Brightwheel, you can sign into your current account. Brightwheel is the program Little Learners uses to keep parents/guardians updated on their children throughout the day. Once a Parent Account is created, the Enrollment Interest Form will be available to complete. Filling out this Interest Form does not guarantee a spot at Plum Street Little Learners. Spots are accepted as openings become available.

Roots (6 week- 11 months): $300 / week
Seedlings (12 months- 24 months): $295 / week
Sprouts (2 years): $290 / week
Wildflowers (3 years): $280 / week
Mighty Oaks (4+ years): $280 / week
After school care for siblings available M-F until 5:30pm for $150 / week
